WE Entertainment & Production

WE Entertainment & Production has been in the heart and mind of Iris J. Hill-Baker since 2014, ten years ago. Iris moved to Las Vegas on May 15, 2013, where soon after, in April 2014, she volunteered with Jimmy Jay’s Soul Festival. She was responsible for the vendors, such as collecting their payments for their booths and placing them in their spots. This is where she met Sherry Gordy, daughter of Berry Gordy, founder of Motown. Sherry Gordy, at that time, had a show called “Take The Stage” held in the Tequila Room at the Fiesta. Iris was responsible for a variety of volunteer positions, from the greeter at the door and working the live stream camera to taking pictures and videos from her camera of the artists’ performance on the stage, as well as celebrities coming to see the shows. From these two events, she decided to bring her business from Detroit to life in Las Vegas. In Detroit, Iris had a brick-and-mortar building with a gorgeous big backyard. She rented booths out to vendors on the inside, and on the outside, she had a stage built for the artists and bands to perform. The public would come in the front door for a fee of $5, browse around on the inside, and visit with the vendors. Then, the public would go outside in the backyard with their lawn chairs and blankets to listen to some super great music.

She took what she saw and learned here in Las Vegas and Detroit and combined them together to form a show for the local talent, giving them a chance to perform and make money to feed their families. Doing this gives the vendors a chance to showcase their goods and/or services, thus making money to feed their families. Iris is a giving person, thus giving back to a charity of the season.

This is Iris J. Hill-Baker of WE ENTERTAINMENT & PRODUCTION and our goal is to entertain the community with live music and to give back to the community.

Thank you.

Mission Statement

WE are a giving and caring people to our community. The community consists of people who work hard at a 9-5 job and, after work on a Friday or Saturday, want to go out to a nice event where they know their money is being well spent. The communities are singers and musicians looking for a paying gig so they can feed their families and keep a roof over their heads. The vendors are part of the community as well; they have a service to offer, goods to sell, and items. This helps them earn money for their families as well. Last but not least, charities play an important role in our community. They help the lives of many across our community with various situations we come across.

WE Entertainment & Production want to give back to charity in that sector when we have ourselves. With us giving to all these sectors of our community, it can’t help but be a win-win situation for all in our community.
